2 sprouted bread with almond butter

Snack

nuts, almonds and 6 drops of semisweet chocolate drops (a plus)

Lunch

Whole weath pasta with chicken

lettuce and tomatoes

Snack

Cheat meal-- Hamburguer from carl's jr with fries

His:cucumber with lemon

Her:2 turkey sausages with lemon

Fish with mushrooms and onion,

a lot of lettuce, spinach and cucumber

Phase 2...

Phase 2 - Day 1 - Wednesday
This phase is very hard for us, but its only 2 days so here we go...

His:Bacon Wrapped Chicken Bites
Her:2 turkey sausages with lemon
Lunch
Mushroom turkey Meatloaf (recipe below), a lot of lettuce, spinach and cucumber
Snack
cucumber with lemon
Dinner Egg white Omellete with mushrooms and spinach
Recipe
Mushroom Meatloaf
Instead of oatmeal (or bread crumbs in a classic meatloaf recipe), this version uses mushrooms to absorb juices from the meat and add texture.
Phase 2
Serves 4
Prep time: 10 minutes
Total time: 40 to 45 minutes
1 pound ground beef
2 egg whites
1 cup finely chopped white button mushrooms
1/2 cup finely minced onion
1 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
1 1/2 tsp. tamari or coconut aminos
1 1/2 tsp. fresh thyme leaves
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. sea salt
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl until well combined. Lightly press the mixture into an 8-by-4-inch loaf pan. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes (the inside will no longer be pink). Let the meatloaf rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with lots of Phase 2 veggies like steamed broccoli or greens.

Lunch 2 tuna patties 1 cup of organic whole wheat pasta Frozen vegetables

Snack Dinner whole wheat pasta with chicken and tomatoes

Week 2 FMD - Haylie Pomroy

By week 2 we are getting used to the diet, I have more things in mind to cook and we have the energy to take this challenge.

This is the menu for today:

PHASE 1 - Monday

His Breakfast: Blendend frozen mango with water 2 tbls of dry oats 1 stevia

Her Breakfast: Overnight rolled oats with water strawberry 1 stevia

Snack 1 Apple or 1 mango

Lunch Chicken with frozen vegetables (carrot,brocolli) 1 cup of beans 1 cup of brown rice

Snack 1 apple

Dinner Chili! Ground meat 1/2 cup beans 1 sprouted tortilla
